LEGALISATION OF BETTING IN INDIA

Abstract
The underlining objective of my research paper is to understand and analyse the concept of betting in India. Betting in India can be a money spinner for our country which will contribute to the development of our country. There was a committee set up which came up with a law commission report with certain laws regarding the betting and gambling laws and this paper focused on how it is useful for India. Also like the UK, India can be benefitted from this in ways like providing employment opportunities, tax revenue and so on. This paper also focuses on the role of the state in betting and what further can be changed in the law commission report has been briefly explained in my paper.
