Abstract

Nowadays, the protection, conservation and improvement of environment are main and major issues or problems in India and as well as all over the world. The term environment includes of both physical environment and biological or ecological environment. The physical environment includes issues relating to land, water and air and the other hand biological environment includes issues relating to plants, animals and other organisms. Both physical and biological environment are mutually dependent and connected each other. The major factor in India like Industrialization, urbanization, explosion of population, over-exploitation of natural resources, disruption of natural ecological balances, destruction of a multitude of animal and plant species for economic reasons, which have contributed to environmental worsening. Thus it is true that, one country’s deprivation of environment degrades the global environment for all the countries in the world. The problem of environmental pollution has acquired international dimension and India is no exception to it.
