Abstract

Children are our future. Securing their present is our foremost responsibility. Including them
in the process of development is the first step in this direction. Inclusive development is a great
challenge in the era of globalisation. All the articles in the Indian constitution including the
Golden Triangle of Art. 14, 19 and 21 are mere paper rights unless all marginalised section of
society is included in the process of development. Children are the most marginalised section
of our society. This is because of the fact that they do not form the economic or political
lobbying section. This is doubly true if the children are the offspring of poverty for their parents
also lack bargaining powers.
